We had fun rolling with you!
On Wednesday, May 14, the streets of Glendale came alive with the energy of cyclists and community spirit for Bike to Work Day 2025! The annual celebration of sustainable commuting brought together residents and commuters who chose two wheels over four to get where they needed to go.
In partnership with the City of Glendale, Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, and Streets for Everyone, we hosted four pit stops across the city, including at 800 N Brand, City Hall, Central Library, and the Glendale Transportation Center. Each location offered bike maps, safety tips, giveaways, and updates on local transportation initiatives—plus plenty of encouragement and community cheer.
We were especially excited to see new faces—first-time bike commuters who took the leap and discovered how fun and freeing a bike commute can be. Whether you joined us for a pit stop, waved from the bike lane, or simply dusted off your helmet for the day, thank you. Your ride made a difference.
Bike to Work Day may be one day out of the year, but we hope it inspires Glendale to keep riding year-round. Whether you’re commuting, running errands, or just enjoying the breeze on a quiet street, every ride counts.
Let’s keep the momentum going, Glendale. We’re better when we roll together.
